The Fairy Lore and Landscapes Exhibition, curated by Dr Jenny Butler, is at University College Cork’s Boole Library (exhibition space on the ground floor) until 25 JUNE 2019. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Just pop along to University College Cork Library and ask at the desk on the way in and they will open the gate to let you see the exhibition (you don’t need to be a student or have a library card). There are audiovisual clips from Dr Jenny Butler’s fieldwork in Ireland, Iceland and Newfoundland and some hidden things to find!
The exhibition was opened by Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Kieran McCarthy on 11 April 2019 and the inaugural lecture of the project was given by Professor Diane Purkiss, Keble College, University of Oxford.
